Kathleen lindquist

Kathleen began her career in the veterinary industry in 2003 when she graduated from the Veterinary Assistant program at Algonquin College. While working in a clinic, Kathleen furthered her education through Cedar Valley College's Veterinary Technician distance education program. In 2011, she began working as a Technician at Prescott Animal Hospital. After a few years, she began working with the large animals with Rideau-St. Lawrence Veterinary Services. Missing her small animal Technician roots, she joined the Kemptville Animal Hospital in July 2018.

Client education is one of Kathleen’s favourite parts of the job as she believes it is a critical part in assisting owners to provide the best care for their pets. Kathleen is known for being a great mentor around the clinic, and her incredible daily coffee consumption.  Her knowledge of microscopic evaluation is an asset to the team.

At home, Kathleen has many animals such as dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, cats and snakes. In her spare time Kathleen likes to be creative and make beautiful and unique jewelry, a hobby that she has pursued for 15 years now.

We know that Kathleen’s caring and empathetic personality will make you and your pets feel comfortable at every visit.
